Awards and prizes for achievements in sustainability in higher education
Yesterday, the National Agency for Quality in Higher Education (NAKVIS) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation held a ceremony to award prizes and prizes for achievements in sustainability in higher education. The award is also supported by the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy. Out of 57 projects, in the category Teaching and Curriculum, the expert jury chaired by Prof. Dr. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj awarded the prize to the manuals for primary school teachers for teaching cultural heritage, authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. M. M. K. As the proposer of the project, the Faculty of Humanities, wrote: “The recognition is a confirmation that the work at the intersection of teaching, cultural heritage and sustainable development has a real impact. It is particularly important because it rewards process - collaboration between university, schools and professional institutions, and the involvement of students who become co-creators of change.” The handbooks were one of the final products produced as part of the two-year Norway Grants project (School of Renewal for a New Generation).
Thank you to all colleagues, partners, teachers and students!
