From 12 to 13 November, the ZVKDS RC will host a two-day expert workshop on the presentation and practical application of modern materials for the conservation-restoration of stone, plaster and wall paintings.

The two-day workshop will be dedicated to the presentation and practical application of modern materials for the conservation-restoration of stone, plaster and wall paintings. Theoretical lectures in the morning and practical demonstrations in the afternoon.
Company IBZ-Salzchemie GmbH & Co. KG is a leader in the development of nanofiber preservation systems. Their best-known products, CaLoSiL® and CaLoXiL, are well established in many areas of cultural heritage protection.
Since the last workshop held at the RC in 2013, the company has IBZ-Salzchemie GmbH & Co. KG Given their widespread use in conservation and restoration practice, the workshop in its renewed format is a welcome opportunity to refresh and upgrade knowledge in the field of nanotechnology in the conservation of stone, plaster and wall paintings.
