Representatives of the Xi'an Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts from China
Representatives of the Xi'an Qujiang Museum of Fine Arts from China visited the ZVKDS Restoration Centre. Prior to their visit, they were also hosted at the National Museum and the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, and later at the National Gallery.
Our institute has participated in the Qujiang Mural Forum hosted by the Xi'an Qujiang Museum on several occasions with expert contributions. With the head of the Restoration Centre, mag. Martina Lesar Kikelj and the restorers from the Department of Wall Paintings and Mosaics and their head Dr Ajda Mladenović, we have on this occasion prepared a model of joint cooperation, which will be implemented in the near future. The Chinese experts are particularly interested in cooperation on projects such as the recently successfully completed international three-year Summer school in Gradišče near Divača.
