Fire

Regarding the fire in the Karst region, ZVKDS informs the public that the Regional Unit Nova Gorica is actively monitoring the situation on the ground. There is no information on the threat to cultural heritage objects at this time. As they did two years ago, the firefighters have done an outstanding job in protecting cultural heritage sites, for which we thank them. Fortunately, according to the information we are receiving, the fire is contained, but we are of course continuing to monitor developments.
