Cultural Heritage Service

On the basis of a public authorisation, the IPCHS Cultural Heritage Service issues cultural protection conditions and consents for undertakings to immovable heritage, as well as provides the Ministry of Culture with the material that acts a basis when creating guidelines and opinions that the ministry issues during the process of drawing up spatial plans. The Cultural Heritage Service is organised into seven Regional Offices.

Regional Offices

The Regional Offices, which can be found all over the country, create records of heritage and monuments, in addition to their valorisation and the procedures that are connected to their declaration. As part of their administrative duties, they issue the cultural protection conditions and consent for any undertakings carried out.
