General information

The Slovenian Association of Conservators (SKD) is a voluntary association of colleagues involved in the protection of natural features and cultural heritage, and aims to secure the interests of the profession. It was founded in 1971. Prior to this it was the Slovenian branch of the Yugoslavian Association of Conservators.

The previous presidents of the SKD are: Stane Bernik, Olga Zupan, Anka Aškerc, Andreja Volavšek, Marijan Slabe, Aleš Arih, Sonja Ana Hoyer, Nika Leben, Janez Kromar, Alenka Železnik, Damjana Pečnik
and Svjetlana Kurelac.
