Tasks of the Institute’s Board
- to supervise the legality of the work and operations of the Institute
- to monitor, analyse and assess the functioning of the Institute
- to make proposals to the founder regarding the auditing of operations, which may also be performed by an internal auditor
- to assess the work of the director and his/her assistants
- to approve the strategic plan, programme of work, financial plan, job classification system, organisation of work, personnel plan, procurement and investment maintenance plan, and the Institute’s collective agreement, and to supervise their implementation
- to decide on complaints by staff regarding their employment-related rights, duties and responsibilities
- to give a preliminary opinion on the appointment and dismissal of the director and his/her assistants
- to appoint members of the expert council
- to sign a contract of employment with the director.
