The tasks of the Expert Council are to:
- monitor and assess the operations of the Institute and the policies of its founder
- ensure the compliance of the strategic plan and the programme of work with the purpose for which the Institute was founded
- deal with issues relating to the expert work of the Institute and to give the director of the Institute opinions, proposals and initiatives for the resolution of these issues
- give a preliminary opinion on the appointment and dismissal of the director to the founder
- give other initiatives and proposals relating to the operations of the Institute
- perform other duties in accordance with regulations in force and with this Decision.
