About the IPCH

The Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia was founded by the state. The rights and duties of founder are exercised by the Slovenian government. The Institute performs public service tasks relating to the protection of immovable cultural heritage and of the movable cultural heritage associated with it. The operations and regulations of the Institute are defined by the IPCH (OGRS, No. 16/2008) and the Decision on the Founding of the Public Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for the Protection of Cultural Heritage (OGRS, No. 65/2008).
